Who is “Arkunir”, a 19-year-old Frenchman who brought Twitter to its knees?

The crack of French-speaking Twitter struck again. After getting a response from Emmanuel Macron’s official account in the greatest calm last July, it was the Twitter account itself that addressed him.

The reason: last Monday, he managed to ratio (aka surpass the number of likes of a publication by commenting on it) the official account of Twitter in no time, teaches us BFM TV. One more feat for the young 19-year-old Frenchman, which earned him a Twitter follow, the only one granted since November 2021. One way to bow for the American firm, a good loser: “Frankly it’s a big flex but good since they lost the ratio it’s the least we can do”, writes us Arkunir on this subject.

Originally, a heated exchange

It all started with this tweet : “may your Tweets prosper and you never get ratio”, garnering more than 125,000 likes to date. Arkunir had then responded with a simple punctuation mark, a point, accumulating today more than 178,000 likes. Ratio obtained. Twitter’s turn to reiterate, this time splitting with a simple exclamation point – we warned you, this conversation is very exciting. Over 6,000 likes. It’s up to Arkunir to go further: ” ?”. Over 95,000 likes. Arkunir 1 – 0 Twitter. Four hours later, he formalized the news:

Result: two days later, the official Twitter account followed him. A feat since after the month of October 2021 when the account followed 10 others, it no longer displayed any subscription, as shown Social Blade. And even if the platform is accustomed to these “flash subscriptions”, you have to know how to savor your victory as it should be:

The following days, he returned to this adventure, always with his own humor: “1st day in my new life as CEO of Twitter and there are still people who don’t see me as you”, he was indignant yesterday. He also took the opportunity to reward his most loyal subscribers: “I give you the protection of Twitter you will never be able to jump believe me go insult a random guy there to see”, he jokes in the comments.

Later, the Twitter account of Twitter even contacts him by private message: “the double ratio is too big to appear on our banner”, we write to him. He then has fun asking the Twitter account directly if he liked Dragon Ball ; the question having so far received no answer, the mystery remains unsolved.

Another trophy on the list

Arkunir is also used to these spotlights on Twitter. Followed by more than 284,000 Internet users on the social network, he even exchanged with Emmanuel Macron in July 2021 by challenging him to reply to his tweet. “If @EmmanuelMacron responds to this tweet I am committing to do a twitch stream where I cross the whole planet in street view on Google Maps (HAHZAHAHA it will take 25 to 30 hours and I am very serious) he announced, stating that 100% of the revenue from the live will be donated to an association. Two days later, the President of the Republic had signed the pact commenting on a simple “Banco” (without reaching the ratio, however).

On September 24, 2021, Arkunir then took action by streaming his world tour on Street View on Twitch. 126 hours of live, 24,000 kilometers traveled and, as a result of this epic, 45,700 euros collected for the association 30 million friends. The video is also available on YouTube:
