Dying Light 2 is a first-person action game in an open world filled with Infested. The player embodies Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer who arrives in Villedor with the aim of finding his sister from which he was separated at an early age. Obviously, he will quickly find himself involved in the internal conflicts of the city which is divided between two factions, the survivors and the peacekeepers, a kind of self-proclaimed militia which tries to centralize resources. Throughout the adventure, you will have to make choices that will affect each of these groups, but also on the shape that the city takes according to the buildings that each side will manage to take.

Thanks to Aiden’s parkour abilities make it possible to freely explore Villedor, especially when you later unlock the paraglider and the grappling hook which make movement even smoother. As for the action part, Dying Light 2 gives pride of place to melee combat using makeshift weapons that can be made from items recovered along the way. As in the first episode, by chaining combat and parkour moves, you will gain more and more experience to unlock new skills through a tree to make your character’s movements even smoother. Corn pay attention to your night outings, because the infected are more numerous than ever and it will not be uncommon to come across monsters that are more resistant than the average, or even special.

WHAT DO THE PRESS THINK OF DYING LIGHT 2?

To know the general opinion of the press, let’s first dwell on the Metacritic index of the game. As a reminder, Metacritic is an aggregator of press ratings which covers different types of works, films as well as series, music and of course video games.
